The Great Dog Escape

Hi! I'm Emily, the owner of The Great Dog Escape, a dog walking and pet care company in Southampton. I started The Great Dog Escape in January 2014 because I wanted to put my passion for pets into practice. I provide the highest quality of care for dogs, as well as many other services for their owners. My main priority is to treat every animal I look after as if they’re my own while they’re with me. Ensuring they're always safe, sound and happy! During my dog walks, I stick to a few rules in order to ensure your dog gets the attention it deserves. I try to stick to a maximum of four dogs per walk, and if I take any more I’m always sure to have an extra pair of hands helping me on the day. It gives me the chance to get to know the dogs personally, limits any stress or nerves your dog may experience, and keeps everyone safe! Whether I’m walking morning or night, in rain, shine or snow, I’m happy keeping your dogs happy. That’s what I do best!

I have years of experience working within pet care, having provided dog walking, house sitting and grooming services for many clients across Southampton. I have been fully DBS checked, so my clients benefit from an extra level of security and peace of mind. While house sitting, I’m always diligent in following your instructions to the letter when looking after your pet. I know first hand how important it is to make a pet feel at ease when they’re left with someone else. You can rest assured you’ll be coming home to a happy pet! I have experience in working with various breeds of dogs, from Rhodesian Ridgebacks to Border Terriors. I will care for any breed of dog.

I'm fully a qualified level 2 dog groomer so you can rest assured that any grooming task will be carried out safely and professionally. Qualifications also include diploma's in pet Psychology, canine communication, pet sitting and dog walking.
